About the Location
Shrek 4-D is located in the Production Central area of Universal Studios. As you step through the front gates of Universal Studios, you’ll find yourself in the middle of a real working film and television production studio.
Production Central is where Hollywood meets Orlando, and the business of making movies meets the excitement of living them.
- The 3-D film utilizes four state-of-the-art, high-resolution digital cinema projectors — two for each eye.
- This is the first time that a film’s original cast and creative team have united to produce an attraction based on an animated film.
