Universal Studios Orlando










The following is a listing of various payment options and banking services available at the Universal Orlando theme parks.



Universal Orlando® accepts three different methods of payment:

1) Cash

Only U.S. currency is accepted at Universal Orlando Resort. If you have foreign currency, simply go to the Guest Services Window at either Universal Studios Florida® or Islands of Adventure, where an attendant will exchange the currency.

2) Credit Cards

We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA, and Diners Club.

3) Personal, Traveler's, & Other Checks

Personal - Only pre-printed, personal checks drawn on U.S. banks for the exact amount of the purchase are accepted (subject to online check service authorization). A valid photo ID will be required (for example, a driver's license with a photograph).

Traveler's - Only traveler's checks in U.S. currency are accepted. The check must be signed by the person to whom the check is issued, and this must be done in front of the cashier. A photo ID may be required.

Business - Only pre-printed business checks drawn on U.S. banks for the exact amount of the purchase, up to $10,000, are accepted (subject to online check service authorization).

Cashier's - Only pre-printed cashier's checks drawn on U.S. banks with verified endorsement by the payee are accepted. Cashier's checks are only accepted for the exact amount of the purchase.

School - Only pre-printed school checks drawn on U.S. banks for the exact amount of the purchase are accepted. The purchaser must show his/her valid photo ID to the cashier.



Universal Orlando has eight (8) automated teller machines (ATMs) located throughout the property. Please see the listing below for their locations, or, once inside the resort, please check with any team member for the one most convenient to you.

The locations are as follows:

1) Universal Studios Florida at the park entrance to the right of the Guest Services window.
2) Universal Studios Florida near the Jaws® ride in the Amity area of the theme park.
3) Universal Studios Florida near the Vacation Services area.

4) Islands of Adventure at the park entrance to the right of the Guest Services window.
5) Islands of Adventure near The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man®.

6) Universal CityWalk® by 2nd level exit of the movie theaters.
7) Universal CityWalk nearby to the Cigarz lounge.
8) Universal CityWalk inside the first floor gaming area at the NASCAR Sports Grille.





Foreign currency exchanges can be made at the Guest Services window of either theme park - Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. These windows are located near to the entrance of each respective theme park. If you need further assistance, upon arrival, please use a park map to find their locations.



All purchases are taxed on a per item basis with a Florida State Sales Tax (currently 6.5%). Those claiming tax exempt status must indicate they are tax-exempt when ordering passes in advance or the order will be entered to include Florida State Sales Tax. Such ones must also provide a copy, or faxed copy, of their Florida State Sales Tax Exemption Certificate before their purchase so that a copy of the certificate is on file in the Universal Orlando Finance department. We do not exempt state sales taxes outside of Florida.
